I bought a Fisker Karma — and thought it would be fun to drive it 2000 miles from Texas to Massachusetts. Spoiler: It wasn’t.

What should’ve been a 30-hour road trip turned into 57 hours of breakdowns, overheating, and sheer regret. In total, I stopped 27 times just to keep the car running. This is easily one of the most painful (but somehow hilarious) road trips I’ve ever done.

If you’ve ever wondered why people say “never daily a Fisker Karma”… this is your answer.
