#sponsored Clearing Land With A @catconstructiontrade BRX318 Industrial Brush Cutter

It’s a bad day to be brush- I’m going to mow this overgrown property with a CAT BRX318 industrial brush cutter.
It has four hardened steel blades mounted to a 900-pound spinning blade carrier.
This brush cutter powered with a new CAT 265 just wants to eat.
I couldn’t believe how fast it chewed through material.
This property hadn’t been mowed in years – it was so rewarding to see it cleaned up.
The landowner was happy with the results, and I had a ton of fun doing the work.
The 318 can handle up to 8” material, you can see here how it cut these cedars down with ease.
Next, I took it out to our land where we’re getting ready to build a house.
There’s no brush but tons of briars and thistles mixed with tall grass.
It’s crazy something designed to mow brush can leave grass looking this nice.
This ground is really hard and has a lot of ruts but the air suspension seat on the 265 made for a smooth ride.
Also, we’ve been in a drought in our area- you can see how dusty it was, but absolutely no dust got inside the pressurized cab.
With the AC on and the music cranked-up, who knew mowing could be this much fun? @hausplans
