There are two thing’s very close to Agnes McLean’s heart, Latin American dancing and socialism. We go with her from her local sequence dance class in Glasgow to the Tropicana nightclub in Havana.
Made in the 90’s when Cuba was going through ‘the Special Period’ when Russia collapsed and could no longer support this tiny island, in her quest for the roots of the Rumba, Agnes meets the Cuban people and finds many kindred spirits.
