Installing Temporary Fencing For A New Warehouse Building

Good news we just got the building permit for our 60 x 84 warehouse building- Roughly 5000 sq ft.

First thing I needed to do was put up some temporary fencing in the parking lot between the first building we just built and the one we’re getting ready to build.

This will help with parking and keep people out of the construction area that don’t belong.

Trying to get these stakes into the gravel parking lot was really a pain in the butt.

I should’ve brought a bigger sledgehammer- definitely got a work out, but we got them in.

This orange construction fencing is cheap and easy to put up and you can roll it up and use it again especially for something temporary like this. It’s a great solution.

The auto body shop that rented the first building is really expanding and they’re in need of more space.

This building will be just like the first, but without the office section.

It’s mainly just a big shop with one office, a bathroom and a utility room.

There’s a set of stairs that lead to a storage area above these rooms.

We designed this area with 2 x 10s so it can handle up to 60 pounds per square foot.

We’re planning to show the entire building process -Be sure to like and subscribe so you don’t miss anything. @hausplans
