You’re definitely gonna want to stick around to the end to see how this flooring turned out -it’s pretty wild.
We went with carpet tile in the offices.
The great thing about carpet tile- you can easily replace one piece if it gets stained or damaged.
In the reception and hallways, we went with two different colors of LVT- luxury vinyl tile.
After they put patch on the expansion joints, they carefully laid out the pattern.
We picked the flooring colors from the company’s logo, and since they are an automotive body shop, we went with a racing stripe theme.
The reception area got a sonic silver middle with a blue border.
This flooring cutter makes a perfect cut every time, which is nice because the borders required a lot more cuts.
While they were waiting for the glue to dry, they installed the vinyl cove base.
I thought it was pretty cool how this caulk tube lays out three even lines of glue.
Then finally everything gets rolled.
Here you can see the end result. It’s pretty edgy.
