Members of the House and Senate claim to be outraged that an unelected person (Elon Musk) has access to the personal information of U.S. Citizens after gaining access to the U.S. Treasury payment system. In this video I discuss the millions of other unelected government employees who have access to varying amounts of personal data on Americans. The true test of whether any of these member of the House and Senate are serious about protecting our data or just engaging in political theater is whether any of them will introduce legislation to better protect American’s privacy from data brokers and ALL unelected government employees (literally 99.98% of federal employees).
