Today was the first rainy day we’ve had in a long time, but there was a lot getting done inside the warehouse.
The plans called for ½” OSB sheathing everywhere on the interior of the shop.
One of my friends, who is a contractor, brought his entire crew to install the OSB and they were able to knock it out in 2 days.
The edges get nailed every 6 inches and 12 in the field.
The sheathing helps brace the walls and is more durable than drywall.
Also, it will be nice for mounting air lines and electrical conduit.
Over on the office side of the building there was a crew finishing drywall.
They’re putting on the final coat of mud today and hoping to have everything sanded and cleaned up by Saturday.
Outside the electricians were busy running wires from the CT cabinet to the disconnects.
We’ve been using generators for a while now and I’m definitely ready to have power in the building.
They started cranking the lugs down with an allen wrench; then after reading the panel to get the correct torque spec, they finished tightening it down with torque wrench.
