Police-worn body cameras may not be the silver bullet some people think they are. Seth Stoughton, a former police officer now law professor at the University of South Carolina, strapped on a body camera to illustrate how these cameras can play with our perceptions. Stoughton set up real-life scenarios with law student Marcurius Byrd to show that what you see isn’t always what you get.
