It’s Sunday Evening almost time to start a brand-new work week.
And I want to share an encouraging scripture with you.
So, sit back and relax and watch me bury this propane tank that just got inspected.
Here’s the thing about this tank- it’s full of propane now, but in 3 or 4 months it will be empty.
We’ll have to have the gas company come out with their truck to refill it.
And even though I ate an entire pizza by myself tonight for dinner, I’m going to be hungry again tomorrow.
This got me thinking about what Jesus said to the Samaritan woman who drew him water at the well:
John 4: 13-14 “Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
Jesus wasn’t talking about physical water but was using it as a metaphor for the peace you can have through having a relationship with Him.
All of the things of this world come and go, but a relationship with Jesus is eternal.
