Their privacy invading practices are well documented and greatly exceed what most people realize including buying data on your credit card purchases, TV viewing habits, and social media posts. Whether you are buying health insurance, home insurance, life insurance or auto insurance, your insurance company is probably engaged in surveillance capitalism and collecting much more data on you than you would ever imagine.
