Casey Putsch speaks about the AMAZING response to the Greenwood bodied 1969 Corvette known as Sluggy being offered for sale to a young person for $5,000. Casey made old wealthy collectors angry and ruffled the feathers of an old guard magazine while getting hundreds of applications from young people who want to get into restoration, but never had a chance. The original video sparked people to donate their cars and money to help young people have a future with our vintage car culture. This particular Greenwood Corvette won 97 races in IMSA, Trans-Am, and SCCA over a 30 year history with its owner and driver who recently passed away. The car will be sold for $5,000 with one big catch…. Only a young person who will restore it, race it, and not sell it may purchase the to keep it out of the wealthy car collector’s “museums” and collections who are destroying the future of classic cars by hoarding cars and inflating the prices. To care about the future requires actions that are in its best interest. MERCH BABY! https://www.redbubble.com/people/caseyputsch/shop?ref=artist_title_name
