#AleisterCrowley #Lovecraft #1001ArabanNights #djinn
There are a number of important works within the Arabic and Persian literary tradition that delves into the fictional and non fictional realms of the occult. From magic, monsters and the djinn, to abstract concepts of time and space, one of these books includes 1001 Arabian Nights. It is both a compendium of demonology and cosmic horrors, featuring anomalies like the Ifrit and the Nasnas monster, and the DNA for Aleister Crowley’s occult cult “The Gnostic Mass of the Ordo Templi Orientis.”
