Let’s see how fast we can unhook the mowing deck on the Ventrac and attach the snowplow.
No snow yet, but I want to be ready for it.
After I raise the attachment locking lever, I release the PTO belt tensioning rod and unhook the belt from the pully.
I like to block the wheels before I back away, it makes it go a lot easier.
Time for the snowplow- I figure if I get ready for snow; then it probably won’t come, but that’s ok with me.
I drive slowly into the attachment once I’m past the lift tabs I raise the hitch till it’s parallel with the attachment arms.
Then I reengaged the locking lever.
Now I hook up the two hydraulic hoses- they control the angle of the blade.
Red goes to Red and Yellow to Yellow.
If you get them backwards it doesn’t hurt anything; it just reverses the controls.
I love how I can control the speed, direction, lift, and auxiliary tilt with one hand.
This six-foot-wide blade is awesome but just barely fits on the trailer, so I have to be careful loading it up. @hausplans
