Casey Putsch Skypes with the Canadian baby boomer hero and car guy Mike Morrison. Mike read thousands of application e-mails and decided to give his 1967 Mercury Cyclone GT to a 25 year-old police officer in the United States who spent his career volunteering for his community, Cooper Schmidt. Mike explains that he admires that Cooper put his community and other people before his personal interests and that is why Mike chose him. Mike also doubles down and decides to give Cooper 2 cars and help him build a vintage racing car. Casey Putsch leads the Genius Garage educational programs and Mike was inspired by Casey’s YouTube channel to close the generational gap and go against the boomer car collectors and price inflators to pass on the car culture to the future. If you’d like to make your collector car or historic racing car matter to the future, reach out to Casey at Genius Garage (link below).
