Throughout history, cultures have understood death not as an end, but as an opening – an initiation into another realm, a natural and necessary transition on our soul’s journey.
Sometimes our dreams remind us of this inevitable passage. In the quiet of the night, they hint at the deeper mysteries waiting just beyond our everyday lives.
Today, I want to share with you an interview with Marie-Louise von Franz on this subject, followed by Jung’s deeply personal letter to a friend, facing terminal cancer—where he reveals his profound near-death experience, and insights into the dissolution of our time-bound form in eternity.
