Casey Putsch talks about why he built the Omega Car prototype. Realizing there are many ways to produce a recyclable energy efficient car, that is affordable, and has low environmental impact, Casey created this prototype with his disdain for the world’s automotive industry that is marching down what he thinks is a destructive path with no future. This prototype is diesel powered, but can be changed to various powerplants including electric, gasoline, natural gas, hydrogen, steam, etc. The Omega Car is representative of a new direction of manufacturing philosophy for the betterment of people, the environment, and the future.
