Check Out This New Downdraft Spray Booth

Check out this Garmat Spray Booth we just had installed in the warehouse.
It’s 13′ wide by 27′ long, so it can accommodate even the longest of pick-up trucks.
There are grates in the middle of the floor because it’s a downdraft paint booth.
As the painter sprays, the fumes are sucked down though the grates that hold filters underneath, then through a tunnel where the fumes are filtered a second time behind the mixing room, and finally they exit through the roof.
The fresh air from outdoors comes through these filters in the ceiling. These keep pollen, dust, and bugs from getting in the paint.
I was impressed with how much lighting the booth has both on the walls and at a 45° angle up at the ceiling.
Because there’s a garage door directly behind the doors at this end, we added one additional egress door- this way if there was ever a fire in the middle of the booth there would be an exit at either end.
This booth comes with an 84000 BTU burner that bakes the paint on after it’s painted.
Ironically, it looks like I’m going to be the first customer.
Let me know in the comments how much you think this repair will cost- I’m getting an estimate tomorrow. @hausplans
