Healthy Vegan Chocolate Protein Shake
3 tbls unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 an avocado **
3 tbls hemp seeds
2 tsp ground chia
1 tbls nut or seed butter (omit if you have an allergy)
2-4 dates depending how sweet you want it
1 cup plant milk
1/2-1 cup ice (optional)
* For nut free option omit or replace almond butter with seed butter of your choice.
** to replace avocado choose ONE of the following:
1/4 cup soaked cashews
1/2 of a banana (reduce dates)
Double hemp and chia seeds
An extra 1 tbls of nut or seed butter of your choice
* For those with diabetic considerations or who want to limit their sugar intake, you should reduce the amount of dates.
Add all ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
