Cherry BBQ
¼ cup broth
1 medium onion chopped
2 garlic cloves minced
2 cups fresh or frozen dark sweet cherries pitted and coarsely chopped
1 cup oil-free, RF Sugar-free ketchup
⅓ cup date syrup
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp coconut aminos
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Heat the broth in a saucepan on medium-high. Add the onions and garlic and cook until soft. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for about 20 minutes. let cool, then blend until smooth. Enjoy!
