How smart is your dog? In this retro gem from the fifth estate archives (1998), Canadian dog psychologist, Dr. Stanley Coren, ranks dog breeds according to their intelligence. His book sorting the smarts of different breeds erupted an earthquake in the dog world whose shock waves are still felt to this day. As Dr. Coren found out, just insult somebody’s dog and watch them turn into an animal. Dog owners, including Don Cherry, defend their four-legged friends.
