Noted historian and scholar Dr. Yosef A.A. Ben-Jochannan has died
On March 19 2015 at approximately 3:30 a.m. Dr. Yosef A.A. Ben-Jochannan, otherwise affectionately known as Dr. Ben, died. According to sources that are close to the family he had stopped eating and drinking several days earlier, as his metabolism slowed down.
Although many are saddened by the news, those who went on social media have acknowledged that he was 97, which means he had lived for nearly 100 years.
