We are all accustomed to the confusion and lack of transparency around purchasing airline tickets. Airlines and Uber use “dynamic pricing” to adjust prices in real time and we may soon be experiencing the same phenomenon when buying groceries. Kroger and Microsoft announced in 2019 they were working together to integrate AI and digital displays in grocery stores to “reinvent” the way people shop and to “create new profit streams”. This video explores what that may look like to consumers.
