Between 2018 and 2021 the FBI supplied over 12,000 supposedly encrypted phones to “criminal organizations” around the world. This activity was known as “Operation Trojan Shield” and it resulted in over 800 arrests and the confiscation of literally tons of hard drugs. But 93% of the people using the FBI sting phones, that secretly sent copies of all their messages to FBI servers, were not arrested.
This video describes my Freedom of Information Act Request I sent to the FBI to learn more about Trojan Shield than what appeared in legacy media outlets.
