Location data is among the most sensitive data that data brokers collect on us. It can divulge not only where we live and work, but what hobbies we have, who our friends are, where we worship, what organizations a person may support, what protests they attend and even what medical procedures they are seeking. The FTC has just cracked down on two data brokers for selling sensitive data on consumers.
