Well that’s ruined but let me show you what you can do in a pinch.
All you need is a clamp, a board, and some duct tape.
First, I’m gonna cut a piece of wood about 9” long by about an 1 ¾” wide.
I saw my framers do this exact thing I’m about to show you just the other day.
They were at my house doing some work and forgot their caulk gun at another job, so this is what they did.
Now you don’t have to use tape, but if you have tape- it helps to hold the tube of adhesive tight against the clamp.
You can use duct tape, electrical tape, or anything you have on hand.
Next, I put the little board I cut into the tube and tighten the clamp against the other end of the board.
