How To Order, Spread, and Compact Gravel

I need to add some stone to the inside of this warehouse foundation before we start framing.
So, I use my laser level to get an idea of how much I need -looks like an average of about an inch and a half.
There are several free gravel calculators online- just enter all the measurements and they tell you how many tons you need.
When you’re guiding a truck, if you can’t see the driver in the mirror, chances are they can’t see you either.
Ok, who can tell me what’s wrong here?
The tailgate chains are still hooked in from spreading gravel on a previous job.
We got them unhooked, he dumped the rest of the load, and was on his way.
The plans for this building call for #57 crushed stone under the slab.
This stone is easy to spread- I work my way from one side of the building to the other without wasting any trips, trying not to pivot the skid steer so I don’t rut up the gravel.
Next, I fire up the roller, a lot of people don’t realize that the drums on these rollers vibrate.
This really helps to compact whatever surface you’re rolling.
This old roller isn’t going to win any beauty contests, but it fires up every time and it gets the job done.
Let me know in the comments, how much do you think I paid for this vibratory roller? @hausplans
