So I just upgraded my work truck to this 23 F250.
Stick around to the end and I’ll tell you how much I got for my trade and what I paid for the new one.
There’s a lot that I like about it- and a few things I don’t.
It still has a tailgate step, but I love that they added these steps in the bumper and a retractable step on the side- right where the toolbox will go.
They also added these tie-down anchors on the tailgate.
There are twin outlets with 2000 watts of power in the bed.
I went with the 6.7 diesel; it has 475 horsepower and a 1050-foot pounds of torque.
My truck is my office, so I like how much storage it has including two glove boxes.
There is a wireless phone charger along with a dash mounted outlet and one behind the console.
All the camera views are amazing.
But call me old fashioned- I don’t like all beepers, alarms, and driver assisted technology.
Some of it I find quite find quite annoying.
The dealer gave me 40 thousand dollars for my old truck and took $6000 off this one.
So, all in with taxes and everything I paid about $44,000 to upgrade. @hausplans
