Check out this massive pipe wrench I inherited from my grandfather.
It’s over 48 inches long and weighs 34 pounds.
Soon after he got home from WWII, my grandfather started a plumbing and heating business.
This wrench is actually a replacement- as the story goes, he and a couple of other guys put a 20-foot extension pipe on the end of the wrench and were jumping up and down on it to loosen a gas line.
They broke the wrench, but Rigid replaced it with a new one- no questions asked.
I just hope someday I have project where I get to use it. @hausplans
