Hey Y’all Hey! This is my May 5th Prayer and Worship. In this Live, we worshipped the Lord, prayed and I shared a portion of my testimony where the Lord extended His mercy and saved me while I was drunk driving!
The mercy of God is basically not receiving something that we are due and there are many times in our life where we can pinpoint the clear mercy of the God. For me, that time was during a birthday celebration while I was driving home. I was extremely intoxicated and I certainly deserved to be in jail. However, the Lord extended mercy on me and I was able to make it home without punishment. I was also able to make it home without getting into a car wreck. I have no idea why the Lord covered me during that time but He did.
This speaks volumes to the character of God. He covers his children even when we don’t deserve it. He’s faithful to his children even when we aren’t faithful to him. He’s patient with his children even when we aren’t patient with him. He’s loving towards his children even when we are not loving towards him. Today, let’s rejoice in our consistently good Father and give him the devotion that HE is due.
“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in mercy.” – Psalms 103:8
