Strava is a popular exercise app for recording running, cycling and swimming workouts. I personally use this app and I am thankful for new privacy controls it has implemented since a 2018 incident in which the company published anonymous user data which accidentally revealed the location of several (previously) secret U.S. military bases in the Middle East.
