Here’s a quick tip for removing stripped hex-head concrete screws.
Sometimes you’ll get one that was sunk too deep, or else the wood got wet and swelled-up, so the bit doesn’t make good contact with the screw head.
Just remove your driver bit and turn it over the screw till you feel it line up, then take a hammer and give it a couple of good taps – you’ll feel the bit sink down into the wood.
Leaving the bit in place take your driver and slowly turn it till it locks into place then the screw should easily back out. @hausplans
