Spencer A. Overton is an American lawyer and law professor of George Washington University Law School. He is a leading election law scholar. Overton is currently serving in the Obama Administration as the Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy in the U.S. Department of Justice.
