Profit & Loss statement as a Darknet Vendor – Deep Dot Darknet

October 8, 2022 1539 Views

In this episode of Deep Dot Darknet I am answering pdemrle’s question:

“Did you keep track of financial records like profit and loss over time, profit margins, etc? Or did you deem it too risky to keep books in case they fell into the wrong hands?”

Great question from pdemarle that I have today! As far as operational security goes I feel that keeping records is definitely a major violation. Not only does it put yoursellf at risk for being open to receiving extraa time (as I detail in the video), but also you put anyy buyers that you may be dealing with at risk too.
The question of keeping records regarrding profit and loss or regarding financial history is one thhat I don’t get asked often but I think is a very importantt question to address when considering the OpSec ramifications of keeping such documentation.
As with any illegal business the last documentation that surrounds it the better! Keep in mind that in addition to any drug charges that you may get you will also see additiional charges forr things like “ghost weight”. I discussed this in the video a little bit.

Because I don’t operate with a script and I simply answer the question as asked sometimes I tend to go out of scope. I think I did a bit of that in this, for that I apologize.

In “Deep Dot Darknet ” I do my best to answer the questions that you have given me be it on email, social media, or here on youtube. Most of the time these questions are in regards to the Darknet, hacking, particulars of being a darknet vendor or other InfoSec or OpSec related questions.

I had started the “Deep Dot Darknet ” series, to be able to address these questions in a manner that was more complete than a “yes” or “no” response that you typically find in the comments sections.

In any case thank you all for taking your time to submit questions as well as watching, liking and subscribing!
