Hey Y’all Hey! This is my April 21th Prayer and Worship. In this Live, we worshipped the Lord, prayed and received a powerful Word from the Holy Spirit: God is Removing Worship Performance from the Church!
The Lord revealed he is dismantling routine (and inauthentic) worship to make way for genuine worship to hit the church. He highlighted David authentically worshipped before Him as the ark of the Lord was being bought into the city. Even though Michal (Saul’s daughter) judged David in her heart, the Lord was pleased by David’s worship. The Lord desires that same genuine, authentic worship from his children; at home AND in church. He does not desire performance, He desires purity of worship.
Also, we received the needed reminder that the Lord is all knowing and He will avenge on our behalf. Michal judged David in her heart and the Lord closed her womb due to these interactions. Whenever we are mis-treated (or judged) for following the Lord, we can be assured that the Lord has us covered. We don’t have to worry or fear what others think because the Lord is always on our side.
‘And David was dancing before the Lord with all his strength, and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with joyful shouting and the sound of the trumpet.’ – 2 Samuel 6:14-15
‘Then it happened, as the ark of the Lord was coming into the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked down through the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord ; and she was contemptuous of him in her heart. ‘ – 2 Samuel 6:16
‘And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.’ – 2 Samuel 6:23
