The late Dr. Yolanda K. Vaughan-Richardson visited us October 16, 2013 to talk about the importance of women’s health awareness. At the time of her visit, Dr. Vaughan was a practicing OBGYN doctor in the Waldorf, MD. area.
Dr. Vaughan was remembered for taking a very open approach in treating and teaching patients and their partners (whom she also was known to invite in the exam room) about the sophistication and “need to know” things concerning women’s health. Unfortunately, Dr. Yolanda Vaughan would leave us all too soon. She passed away on March 26, 2016 in her hometown, Washington, DC.
