50 years ago we witness the rise of someone that promised to bring the nation together in unprecedented ways. In 1968 Robert F. Kennedy became a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for the presidency by appealing to poor, African American, Hispanic, Catholic and young voters. Unfortunately on June 6, 1968 he would be fatally wounded by an assassin. Twenty-five years after Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated, RFK: His Words for Our Times, a celebration of Kennedy’s life and legacy, was published to enormous acclaim. Joining us is author C.Richard Allen and Emmy-Award winning journalist Kenneth Walker.
