Roasted Hoisin Cauliflower

1 head of cauliflower

For the hoisin sauce:

½ cup date paste
¼ cup miso paste
¼ cup coconut aminos
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp chinese five spice
2 tbsp tahini
¼ cup water

Directions:

Prepare the Hoisin Sauce:

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Prepare the Cauliflower:

Preheat the oven to 425 F.
Wash the head of cauliflower. Remove all the leaves. Brush the cauliflower generously with the hoisin sauce. Put some hoisin sauce in the base of the cauliflower as well. Place the sauced cauliflower in a baking dish. Cover it and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 20- 30 minutes. Top with extra sauce if desired. Serve on a base of sweet hummus with a side of millet or quinoa. Enjoy!
