Southfield Parks & Recreation Black History Month “Pride & Prejudice” 2021

Southfield Parks & Recreation Department and The Secret Society Of Twisted Storytellers® are back together to close out Southfield Celebrates Black History Month Friday, February 26, 2021.

The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers presents “Pride & Prejudice” produced and directed by Satori Shakoor and hosted by Cheryl James. Featuring true and personal stories told by Carolyn Carter, Frank Joyce, Maxie Jones and Dwight Stackhouse, along with musical guest Kym Brady, the Urban Violinist. There will also be a performance of the piece Good Trouble, choreographed by Christopher Huggins, by the Legacy Dance Studio Tiaras dance group. A special after show Q&A with the performers as well as an opportunity to browse the virtual Storytellers Marketplace is included in the evening.
