Timothy Lionel Jenkins played a key role in shaping SNCC’s movement into organizing for voting rights. He was Howard University student body president when the sit-ins began in 1960.
From SNCC of the 1960’s, to his contribution to The National Museum of African American History and Culture that’s due to open 2016. For nearly 6 decades Timothy Lionel Jenkins has continued to be a notable figure in the fight for Justice, Black History, Black Culture and the recognition of Black America’s contribution and sacrifice.
