This parking lot has potholes big enough to swallow a Kia.
I’m going to fix it with a Ford, not that Ford- this Ford.
This is my Father-in-Law’s Ford 3930 Tractor, and it’s got one of the best sounding diesel engines ever made in my opinion.
And mounted to the 3-point hitch we’ve got a homemade box scraper that a friend welded up for him.
This thing works absolutely awesome for grading up driveways and parking lots.
There’s small piles of stone everywhere leftover from when I plowed snow a couple weeks ago.
I just back up, lower down the scraper wherever there’s a pile and I can drag it to where I need it.
I love what a nice job this box scraper does along the edges and then when I get to a thin area I just gradually lift up the scraper until the gravel is all gone.
This tractor has a clutch with 8 gears- four low and four high, and it’s got both a left and right brake so you can really turn sharp.
Here you can see what’s left of a big snow pile- I try my best not to push gravel when I’m plowing, but this tends to happen at the spots where I push a lot of snow.
So, let me know in the comments, in your opinion, what’s the best sounding diesel engine ever made? @hausplans
