From 1977 Fifth Estate host Adrienne Clarkson examines the distribution of the Canadian produced Sabre F-86 jet aircraft, after they were determined to be unsafe for military use, to private individuals in the US and Canada as well as bulk sales to third world countries. Clarkson explains how in the US old military aircraft are demolished, but in Canada that was not the case. Clarkson looks at how a privately owned F-86 helmed by a pilot unfamiliar with the powerful jet crashed with deadly consequences in Sacramento, California.
