I was raised to believe becoming a wife and mother was my divine purpose—but I also saw a lot of unhappy Mormon moms who felt trapped and resentful. After leaving the church, I went through a full pendulum swing and experimented with everything I’d been taught to avoid—and still, I chose to have kids. In this video, I’m sharing why, how my mindset changed, and what parenting looks like for me now, outside of religion.
